Weddings and Civil Partnership Celebrations
So you’ve found The One and a thrilling new chapter is about to begin.
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Whether you’re going all out with a big, elaborate extravaganza or keeping things small and relaxed, your ceremony deserves to be so much more than ‘the serious bit before the party gets started’.
Working closely, we will create a stand-out experience that will keep your guests fully engaged from start to finish.
I will be on hand in the run-up to your big day to assist with writing your personal vows (if you wish), and I can advise on music, readings, poems, prayers, symbolic gestures – whatever you want included.
On the day itself, I will arrive at least an hour ahead of the ceremony to greet everyone and make sure everything is as it should be.
And because we will already have got to know one another and formed a bond, I can help calm any last-minute nerves you two might have once we get going; a friendly face you’ve come to trust, as oppose to someone you’ve only just met who’s clutching a script that’s been read millions of times before.
As things currently stand in England and Wales, a celebrant ceremony is not legally binding, so you will still need to attend your local register office to sort the formalities.
But once this is done, you have creative carte blanche. So let’s get creating!

Renewal of Vows
Whether it’s to mark a special milestone anniversary, overcoming a challenging time, or simply “because”, I will collaborate with you on a fitting tribute to the love and devotion that continues to blossom between you and your soulmate. Together, we will curate a ceremony that honours your past, celebrates your present and reflects your shared dreams for the future.
You may now have a family and want to involve them, or friends who have
supported you along the way. You may wish to adapt the vows you made the first time around, or to make completely new promises to one another – I can help you find the right words to express what is deep within your hearts.
Couples often choose to rededicate their rings, others use it as an opportunity to exchange new ones. A symbolic gesture, such as the lighting of a unity candle, can also be a wonderfully moving element.
Whatever feels right for you, it is a beautiful way to emotionally “check in” with one another – to remind yourselves of how far you have come and congratulate yourselves on the life you have built together.

Commitment Ceremony
For some couples, the legally binding nature of marriage and civil partnership complicates things or just doesn’t sit right. But it might still be important to publicly declare their love and have that special moment of witness from their nearest and dearest.
If you want to acknowledge and celebrate the depth of your relationship without any of the legalities, this is the ceremony for you.
Your commitment ceremony can be as “weddingy” as you want it to be. You can have the gown, the rings, the confetti – or not. Again, it is totally up to you.
Together we can create a moving and meaningful ceremony that communicates the importance of what you have found together in a way that reflects your personalities, respects your beliefs and rejoices in your shared happiness.
